KRL Measuring Method
The KRL measuring method offers the highest possible reliability in assessing the readiness for covering of screeds containing additives, accelerators, or novel binders, such as CEM II cement. The readiness for covering of these "modern" screeds can often no longer be clearly assessed based on the results of the CM measurement method, as the CM measurement provides information on the residual moisture content in the screed sample material, i.e., the absolute moisture content of the screed sample material, but not on the moisture potential of the screed itself.
